President and Founder Tom Slobodnik started Slobodnik Construction Group, Inc. in 2004 with a dream to bring the best construction and design services to Fremont, Omaha, and surrounding areas. Previously, Tom worked with Werner Enterprises in Omaha for over 18 years, where he managed construction projects as the Senior Director of Facilities, Construction and Terminal Management. During his time there, he completed projects in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Slobodnik Construction Group, Inc. now operates in Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota with a Class A contractors license in all 3 states, qualifying SCG, Inc. to build everything from high rise buildings to residential homes. SCG, Inc. provides commercial, industrial, and residential construction, consulting, and design services to their clients. The SCG team has grown over the years to 5 core team members plus numerous contractors. Tom’s wife Lori manages the office and accounting, along with their dog Murphy.
Tom and Lori love going to work every day because they know they are impacting lives and building client’s dreams. In their spare time, they love spending time with their family and friends, traveling, and relaxing at their home in Yutan.
